CLASSROOM OBJECTS LESSON PLAN

Warm Up
1. Write the lyrics of the song on the board and highlight the school objects. (For advanced students
leave a blank space for them to fill in with the words while listening.)

2. After playing the song in class and ask students to listen and try to remember some of the words.
After listening to the song, ask students what words they remember and ask them if they know any
other classroom object words.

Activity
introduce the key words from the lesson. Using these classroom object flashcards or by pasting some
images on the board (big enough), ask students to repeat after you. Then ask students to say each word
on their own. Hold up a flashcard (or a real object) and ask students “What is it?” or “What can you
see?”, and ask students to answer using a full sentence. For example, “It’s a book.”, “I can see a chair.”,
etc.

Game
Ask a random student to set forth and tell him/her in the ear a word for them to draw on the board.
The other students must guess the word by saying it aloud. You can make this more fun by adding a
score system and a reward.
