Muhammad Andree Putra he is one of my closest friend. Based form the research of
Andree’s social media, we can tell that Andree is an introvert person. He rarely posted his
moments in Social Media like Instagram and Facebook. In other hand he was tagged in his
relative social media so we can scoop information from there. As we can see from the post
tagged, he is a fresh graduated Pilot and have talent with bass. He went to music studio quite
often with his friend from Flight Academy. His tagged post also showing that Andree is a closed
person where he remains in the small circle of friends. He only have interaction with some
friend from Flight Academy.
 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for Commercial Use
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle or known as UAV is an unmanned aircraft without any air crew
directly involved of the operation. UAV can be programmed from the ground with help of
Remote Pilot Aircraft or RPA in the ground station allow fully autonomous flying without any
human intervention on the operation. The condition is suitable for UAV to join the military
operation since World War II to minimize any soldier casualty on battle field. Furthermore UAV
provide not just as a tactical vehicle, it also coming in commercial use such as Agriculture and
expected to enter in commercial aircraft.
UAV offer operator to reduce expense for hiring and training of the aircrew for specific
operation type. Indonesia Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) part 10 regulate the
mandatory standard and training for Drone Pilot Certificate. Compare with conventional Pilot
which more expensive and take a longer duration needed. On the other hands UAV rely to the
autonomous or autopilot system to run the entire operation. This became a drawback for UAV
to replace man flying in commercial airliner where safety factors considered not comply with
the regulation. In Indonesia UAV standard following CASR part 10 which is different with airline
standard in CASR part 121 and 135. Autonomous flying offers a new innovation for commercial
use especially in Agriculture and Photography. In the Agriculture UAV can be used to spray
water efficiently with less man power also a shorter duration. With implemented high definition
thermal camera to give a holistic information to the farmer about the plant health and field
condition. In the newest model UAV provide security support for farmers to avoid any pest
coming to the field by shooting high pressure water directly to the pest. The other area who
helped with the UAV presence is Photography. In this era UAV implemented a high definition
camera with wide frame such as DJI Phantom which provide a new point of view for viewer to
see a wider view from air which normally impossible to achieved by human. The impressive
quality image or video captured from UAV become a new benchmark of Photography in this
era.
The presence of UAV can become a wall breaking innovation for human kind. It offers a
flexibility in any kind of operation except commercial airline operation with lower cost. UAV
able to create an efficient outcome for commercial use with less human intervention which may
result in lower expanse to pay human power.
