Assignment #1
Bc210426441

Scenario:

"Workplace diversity" refers to a workplace that includes workers that have different
characteristics, such as gender, race, ethnicity, etc. A diverse workplace is one that employs
people with a wide range of characteristics and experiences.
Modern technology has further enhanced workplace diversity by providing different modes
and tools for integration and engagement of diverse people from multiple geographical
locations and backgrounds. Therefore, the workplace is becoming increasingly diverse in
terms of nationality, culture, gender, experience, personality, and other factors. It has a
considerable impact on management operations at the national and international levels.
This diversified workplace has been considerably difficult for top management to
accommodate with employees coming from multiple cultural work groups. Due to this,
interpersonal conflicts arise and managing the diverse employees in such a workplace is
significantly difficult for an organization to bring all employees on a one single platform.

Question:

As an HR-Manager, how will you deal with employees from diversified work group to
achieve common organizational goal?
Provide three points with logical reasoning.

Answer

Achieving organization goals is the sign of best management because the goals are the heart of
successful performance of management and also important for organization long term benefit.
Now mangers must focus more attention on the issue of diversity. Following some important
following step for the manger to deal with employees from diversified work group and achieve
common organizational goals.

Motivate & Resolve employee’s conflicts

Being a manager, the main goal of a manager is to
resolve the issues running between the employees and to create harmony between them.
Regardless of race and color, the manager can help achieve the goals of the organization by
establishing a mirror relationship with his workers and by addressing the problems that occur
during their work in a good way and motivating them. It becomes easy to achieving
organizational goals
Equal rights & rules
Unfortunately, there are individuals who cannot stand people who are
unique to them. This can result in acts of racism, sexual harassment, or perhaps spiritual
discrimination. Never create a difference between the workers, treat everyone under equal rights,
do not treat your workers by keeping any race in front, make the rules equal for everyone and do
not favor anyone, tell the workers the rules of the organization and give them mental Train them
so that they all work together at the working place. For example, if the manager discriminates
among the workers of a certain color and race, then the rest of the workers will not take their
work seriously and therefore the organization can't achieve their goals. So the manager will treat
everyone with equal rules and rights, then the organization will achieve its goals.

Give training and developed skills

Diversity training is an important step in achieving this
goal. The training helps employees become more aware of unconscious bias and other barriers to
diversity and inclusion, and encourages positive attitudes and behaviors—to create and maintain
a respectful, inclusive workplace it is necessary. At the same time, a manager should develop the
skills of workers through training, which will not only increase their productivity, but also the
organization can achieve their goals in better way.
