openings
25 Removal of defective props.

Approval

Grades of work: A= Good; B= Need Rectification; C= OK Rectification

Special Notes:
1. Concrete stacking/ mounding on shuttering during casting is not allowed.
2. Vibration and impact due to passing traffic, movement of workers and equipment on
formwork, and vibration because of concrete consolidation must be controlled as per
requirements
3. Ensure the presence of at least 3 nos experienced workers below shuttering keeping a
continuous watch during casting for checking dangerous situations/ variations/ loose
props/ leakage etc. if any
4. Safety training is a must for the workmen involved in formwork and concreting works
before casting

of steel shutter.
02 Clear cover confirms
bottom & top layer from
M.S. Bar.
03 Vibrating properly in
vertical placement of
vibrator.
04 Vibrating grid system on
slab surface.

09 In case of joint, fix it at

proper position and way
10 . Estimate the volume of
concrete and set the target
considering the capacity.
DO NOT allows
converting work at darks.

Special Notes:
 For large volume of casting, ensure two/ three engineers.
 Continue checking slump for pipe concreting.
 Water/ Cement ratio to be standard for good concreting.
 Use of all personal protective equipment (PPEs)
