The findings shows that there are various hindrances that the respondents encounter during online

class, in terms of internet connectivity, gadgets, environment and electricity. The respondents in the
study showed that slow internet connection is a significant hindrance that all respondent identified.
Gadgets-related hindrances, such as malfunctioning and insufficient storage, can disrupt learning
sessions and hinder access to course materials. External disturbances, including noises, household
chores, and weather disturbances, can interrupt online classes and affect concentration and
engagement. Electricity-related hindrances, such as unscheduled power interruptions, were reported by
a seventy percent of the respondent. This suggests that electricity supply is generally unstable during
online classes.

The findings show that the obstacles that the students encounter during online class has and impact to
the academic performance as the respondents overthinks, lack of activity during discussions, inability to
focus, and anxiety. These challenges may impact their overall engagement and participation in online
classes.

The findings shows that the majority of the respondents used mobile data as their coping mechanism for
internet connectivity, indicating a reliance on personal resources rather than public Wi-Fi or Pocket Wi-Fi
options. In terms of acquiring and using gadgets, some students reported purchasing new gadgets, while
others relied on borrowing or sharing with family, relatives, or friends. Students exhibited certain
adjustments, such as using earphones or headphones and adjusting study time and household chores to
accommodate academic commitments. Communication with parents regarding the impact of taking care
of younger siblings on academic performance was relatively low among respondents. Power banks were
the most commonly used power source among the respondents, followed by generators and solar
power. These alternative power sources provide means for managing electricity-related needs during
potential outages or constraints.

In conclusion, this research highlights various hindrances faced by students during online classes,
including internet connectivity issues, gadget-related challenges, environmental disturbances, electricity
constraints. Understanding these hindrances can help educational institutions and policymakers develop
targeted interventions and support mechanisms to ensure equitable access and enhance the overall
online learning experience for students.
