Jersey Day Fundraiser

We hope this letter finds you safe and sound. As one of the students at your school,
we would like to ask your permission for Jersey Day on Friday 19th May.

As you may know, Jersey Day is a day when students can wear their favourite jerseys
or sports jerseys to school. This day is not only fun, but also helps promote school
spirit and a sense of unity among the students.

This would be a great way to show your support for your favourite sports teams and
players and bond with your classmates as well as an opportunity to raise funds for
any upcoming events that the student council has in mind such as hosting a reading
competition for reading month and implementing a yearbook. From this fundraiser
we are expecting to raise around 700 dollars, 300 of which will be used to fund the
reading competition, and the rest put away for the yearbook. We think having Jersey
Day on Friday would be a great idea as it would give students something to look
forward to and also bring a positive and attractive atmosphere to the school. Plus, it
would be a great way to celebrate the end of the school week and prepare for the
upcoming weekend.

We understand that there may be concerns about the propriety of such an event, but
we assure you that we will act respectfully and responsibly. We follow all school
rules and do not let this event disturb our study or learning environment. There will
be a strict dress code by which the children have to abide. No majorly ripped jeans,
no tank tops, no pouches, jewellery should be restricted to one necklace/bracelet.
Failure to comply with these rules could result in restriction of entry until compliance.

Finally, we would like your approval for Jersey Day on Friday, May 19th. We think it
would be a fun and positive experience for all of us and we hope you will consider
this request.
