J: Hello girls, how are you?


R: Hello Jefferson, we are here talking about some things with Esmeralda.
E: Hi Jefferson, here we are fine.
J: Have you seen the news this week?
R: Not at all, I was very busy studying.
E: I couldn't see either, what on the news Jefferson?
J: Nothing, just that I am surprised because a report came out showing how the
pandemic has affected many celebrities such as musicians, actors, artists, they have not
been able to have the success they expected. And I have something to ask you

R: Sure, she was born in Lima in 1979. She is a dancer, ballet choreographer and
contemporary dance. He is independent and likes to help people.
J: Interesting, could you tell me more about your life?
R: She started very young and began dancing ballet at the Lucy Telge school in 1987,
she became an ambassador for the Peru Brand, Member of the Advisory Council of the
Ministry of Culture and much more.
J: And what are your successes or how was you recognized?
E: It has helped many young people, people learn to follow their dreams and earn a
living with them. He has obtained the SYNACYT Award for Social Innovation, the
Indecopi 2012 institutional award, and many others, he also founded a D1 social project.
J: It's very interesting, I also have in mind a person who has been successful in recent
years.
R: Tell us Jefferson, who are you thinking of?
J: I'm thinking of chef Gastón Acurio
R: Yes, Jefferson you are quite right but we want to know more about him.
E: Could you tell us more about it?
J: Sure, Gastón Acurio was born on October 30, 1967 in Lima, Peru, the son of former
senator and former conservative minister Gastón Acurio Velarde and Jesusa Jaramillo
Rázuri. In 1987 he moved to Spain to begin his law studies at the Complutense
University of Madrid. at the wish of his family.
E: And what were his most important achievements?
J: After finishing their studies and doing an internship for a while in European
restaurants, they settled in Peru and on July 14, 1994, they opened their first restaurant,
Astrid & Gaston. In 2005, they opened La Mar in Peru, their first cebichería, which was
very well received, in addition, he received in Stockholm, from the hands of Prince
Charles.
