III. Statement of the Problem

General SOP: Is there is a correlation between the online screen time of the grade 12 ICT
students of Tarlac National High School and their academic performance?
Specific SOP:
1. What category do students in grade 12 ICT fall into; “Good” or “Bad”?
2. How do we describe the student’s internet usage in terms of duration; “Low” or
“High”?
3. Is there a correlation between the online screen time and the academic performance of
grade 12 ICT students?

We are researchers from Grade 12 ICT of Tarlac National High school. We are
conducting a study with a temporary title of " Correlation between Online Screen Time and
Academic Performance Among Grade 12 ICT students in Tarlac National High School "
