ABSTRACT

The introduction and explanation of our feasibility study are found in chapter one,

where we also offer the specific data, goals, and plans for our company. The market

viability section of chapter two includes a summary of the business's SWOT analysis,

which identifies its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, as well as marketing

plans for how we will advertise our services to the general public. The technical

feasibility of our planned business, including its location and timing, as well as the

facilities required and their associated costs, are all discussed in Chapter 3. The

organizational feasibility section of chapter four provides a summary of the

organizational structure of our business, the job descriptions and responsibilities of each

employee, and the company policies that each employee/worker is required to take into

account and adhere to. The financial viability section of chapter five concludes the

project's overall expenses, lists the sources of funding to cover the required funds, and

analyzes the financial statements to show whether our income is increasing annually and

whether the cash flow statement's outcomes are balanced. This study aims to determine

whether it is feasible to set up Comro Events in Ormoc City and whether the public

would support our proposed venture. An interview technique and a survey questionnaire

were utilized as the research instruments for this company feasibility study. Using these

techniques, it was determined that our firm could be set up in Ormoc City due to the high

demand for the service that people would want to use because they want to celebrate

special occasions and want them to be lovely and unforgettable. Because there is always a

celebration in a certain month every year, event planners are in high demand today.
CHAPTER I

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

An event organizer is a type of business where it holds and

manages different kinds of events and occasions. Organizers will meet

with the clients to go over their wants and other significant issues, as well

as to preserve our working relationship with them and the caterers and

other suppliers who will be in charge of setting up, carrying out, and

cleaning up the events. The team will guarantee that every last element of

the plan is in place and outlined in microscopic detail, and everything must

occur as it should on the day to ensure success on time and within budget.

Once our proposal has been approved, the next step is to make the ideas a

reality. Event planning is more complex than most people think because it

involves a large package and a great deal of responsibility that is in our

hands.

Mission

Comro Events, strive to ensure clients' satisfaction as we deliver

personalized and unique experiences that go above and beyond

expectations by continually providing exceptional service that creates an

overall spectacular event experience.

Vision

1
To be the top first event organizer in Ormoc City and to receive an

award for an outstandingly good service business.

General & Specific Objectives

 To satisfy customers with the best selections and offerings that we can

share with them at their events/occasions with the lowest possible

prices that are worth payable.

 To expand our event offerings with better than-ever quality.

 To be the city’s most well-known event organizer that delivers high

quality and focuses on the uniqueness and peculiarities of our client’s

project.

The Comro Event was produced by the five corporation members

since it has a significant duty and requires time to plan. Unity is a strength

in establishing our business "event organizer." The kind of business entity

we've chosen to use is a corporation. We are part of a legal entity that is

separate and different from its owners because of the company. Because

corporations have numerous advantages in both sectors, we decided to

employ this sort of corporate structure.

We plan to establish our specific location in Rizal Street, Ormoc

City. We tend to make our office near the city proper so that it would be

convenient for the customer to catch us. We choose to locate at a place

where numerous individuals will be able to seek our office easily and

2
could attract customers; hence, a tremendous possibility for our business to

expand.

We started proposing our feasibility study, which is a study of

putting up an Event Organizer in Ormoc City on November 29, 2022, and

plan to start our business in late 2023. Our office will open at 8:00 am and

close at 5:00 pm. In any case, if someone wants to book immediately, and

it isn't office hours, we have employees that can entertain our clients even

if it is past office hours. We have employees that control our telephone

numbers and social media accounts so they can contact or message us.

Comro Events offers different types of packages and deals for a

variety of events which include the following:

a. Debut

b. Wedding

c. Grand Birthday Celebration

d. Christening

e. Festivals

f. Reunion

g. Christmas Party

h. Exhibitions

k. Despedida (Farewell) Party

l. Conferences and Seminars

m. Product or Service Launch

n. Company Meetings and Off-sites

o. Company Party

p. Award Ceremonies

q. Fashion Shows and Red Carpets

These occasions are significant because there are several tasks to complete

before, during, and after the event. Because this type of event is corporate,

it must be exceptional and offer top-notch service in order for our

customers to be happy with our offerings.

Prices of each event packages:

- Grand Birthday Celebration -100,000

As any event planner knows, successfully running a business

requires tremendous flexibility and adaptability – anticipating and

responding to new trends and finding new solutions to customers’

challenges. Analyzing your competition plays a vital role in shaping your

company’s strategies. It determines your strength and shortcomings within

the market. It gives your business a distinct advantage from traditional and

non-traditional competition. While analyzing the competition, you can

exploit any weakness that belongs to your competition. However, it

becomes difficult to compete with new competition if you fail to

7
understand a broader competitive space, where a non-traditional brand

constantly fights to capture consumers’ minds space.

 Uniqueness

The given weaknesses and threats of the business can greatly affect

its competitiveness. The weaknesses, as given in the table above, are

temporary factors that affect the business and can be solved at any time.

For instance, the lack of sufficient financing for the event can be avoided

by planning ahead of the outline of the event to estimate the budget

effectively. An inexperienced event team would be a worse case in event

organizing, but this can be prevented as skills can be learned. On the

contrary, the threats are the permanent factors that will greatly affect the

8
business. Strong competition cannot be avoided as it is normal in the

business world to have competitors. Strong teamwork of event organizers

will surely give solutions to the threat. Having bad weather is the worst for

event organizers. We have no control over the weather; hence some

events/occasions may link to a postponement of the said event.

Unprepared infrastructure can lead to serious accidents. It is best to check

and take precautions for the infrastructure to be used for the event to be

delivered smoothly. Poor time management and careless mistakes are

unavoidable. These can happen a lot of times since there is no perfect man

in the business, but this is surely not the basis to stop doing business.

Mistakes can be learned and used as a tool for improvement. Business is a

business; it is a continuous process of failure and success.

Market Potential

Event organizers work in many market sectors. Depending on your

experience, you can choose to offer a general event planning service or a

specialized service in sectors such as social events, corporate events, or

events for nonprofit organizations. Within those sectors, you can specialize

further by focusing on specific events such as weddings, sales conferences,

or fundraisers. Event organizers benefit from price optimization more than

any other industry, but at the same time, it Is often an incredibly

challenging task. Only as little as 12% of consumer brands have a winning

pricing strategy. Thus, the demand for our services in this industry is high

and consequently, we have grown in expertise with the many projects we

9
have done. Here in the Philippines, the rate of event organizers is from ₱

50,000- 300,000 pesos it depends on what the customers want to be the

outcome of their event.

The approximate proportion of an industry that a specific business earns over a

given time period is known as estimated market share. Starting an event services

company requires starting with this Comro Events revenue prediction. It offers a

quick and simple way to predict revenue for an event service business over the next

three years, as demonstrated in the example above. Such information includes how

many events we can handle each month, multiplied by 12, to determine how many

events we can handle year. As a result, the maximum capacity will be determined in

hours, and the capacity utilization will be determined by the number of consumers.

According to the tables above, our demand and sales are growing year over year,

and this is due to the strong demand and low pricing of our service fees, which are

effective at capturing the interest and expectations of our clients.

Market Strategies
12
An event organizer is a type of business where it holds and manages

different kinds of events and occasions. Event organizers planned ahead of

the outline of the supposed events/occasions to estimate the budget

needed. Social media can bring a big bang for the business because social

media has a huge part in modern business. More people can engage and

communicate with the event organizers hassle-free. Creating a blog will

push the business higher since making a blog on a website can be

effectively used to communicate news about the event, its purpose, goal,

and objectives. Chances of getting ahead in search engine rankings are

likely higher as it has the advantage of being boosted through any social

media. Our business is mainly targeting audiences, particularly living in

Ormoc City, who want to wish their occasions to be efficient and cost-

effective.

CHAPTER III

TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY

This chapter reveals the technical feasibility to be employed by the

researchers in conducting the proposed business.

Location and Facility Needs

The former Gaisano Mall was constructed on Rizal Street in Ormoc

City, where we intend to open our business after the catastrophic fire

accident that destroyed the mall. The area was changed today to a public

parking lot. We wish to buy this lot because it is more convenient for us to

get the supplies we need and because it has a high potential for attracting

customers.

ORGANIZATIONAL FEASIBILITY

This chapter concludes how the business is constructed and the

organizational structure where it consists of the people behind this

business and their job description and functions in this organization.

Business Structure

Being a collaboration, everything we do begins with a strategy created by

the stockholders or business partners, passes through the minds of each

event, and is completed by the staff. Our large workforce enables us to

manage events and clients without encountering significant challenges or

running out of resources. Employees are the ones who work on the

projects and activities that were specifically assigned to them. The

company's partners or stockholders have the power to hire people,

terminate those who aren't necessary, and establish business plans. The

person in charge of events is the one who assumes command and makes

decisions regarding that event.

List of the people behind the Comro Events:

The Stockholders/Shareholders are the one who sets decisions

and plans for the company. They also have the power to choose the

person in charge of each event, allowing them to focus on other

assigned tasks.

18
Head/Event Organizer- They are the ones who organize events

and develop plans based on what the customers desire.

Head of the Food and Catering services- They oversee preparing

the meals for the occasions and events.

Head of Visuals (Photography and Video) - They are the ones

who take pictures, and record and produce videos of all occasions

and events.

Head of tailored dresses and suits- They produce the outfits,

dresses, and suits for celebrants, couples, and other individuals.

employees, employers, and organizations must uphold. They also refer to

the regulations that organizations must adopt and adhere to.

All workers must be treated equally and given the same

opportunities regardless of their color, age, gender, sexuality, disability,

culture, or anything else that could lead to discrimination.

20

Everyone working for the company is guaranteed safety in the

places where they are doing their jobs.

Here are the 8 safety tips in the workplace:

 Always Report Unsafe Conditions

 Keep a clean workstation

 Wear protective equipment

 Take breaks

 Do not skip steps

 Stay up to date with new procedures or protocols

 Maintain proper posture

 Offer guidance to new employees

Operating Policy

Employees are required to abide by organizational policies to keep

operations running properly. Some are created to offer direction and

benefit workers. Others try to shield the company from legal danger and

forewarn staff members from doing specific actions.

Waste Management - Everyone needs to learn proper waste management

techniques for handling their garbage or waste. And they must practice the

3Rs, reduce, reuse, and recycle approaches that are environmentally

preferred to help save landfill space by keeping useful materials out.

3Rs

Reduce- Through the reuse and recycling of discarded products that can

still be utilized in other ways, we can reduce our waste and garbage.
22
Reuse – Instead of tossing away items that we believe to be still usable, we

can reuse them.

Recycle- We can recycle used materials so they can be utilized in different

ways rather than throwing them away.

Reward Systems of the Employee (incentive)

An employee incentive system is a tool or a program for rewarding

employees who have mastered their work habits and are on the path to

success.

Here are some of the rewards that an employee can have:
