Dear My Co-Reasearcher,
Greetings of Peace!
In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree, Master of Arts in Education Major in
Educational Management which I am pursuing at Northern Quezon College, Inc., I am currently
working with my study entilted “Unpacking the Dimension of Work-Life Balance: A
Phenomenological Study of Single and Married Elementary Teachers in Polillo District”. This
study is a requirement for the completion of my Master of Arts in Education at Northern Quezon
College, Inc., Infanta, Quezon.
In this regard, may I request for your full cooperation by serving as my co-researcher/participant for
my underlying study in validating if my instrument is of its utmost clarity and relevance as a
research study. Attached herewith is the copy of my interview guide questions for the purpose of
getting information about your lived experiences regarding your work status being interfere by your
personal life, your personal life being interfere by your work as a teacher, and lastly, your work-life
balance as a teacher. I hope that you will willingly and wholeheartedly answer all the questions
completely and honestly as you can. The success of this study will depend on your full cooperation.
Rest assured that all information to be shared will be treated fairly and with high confidentiality. It
will only be used for the purpose of the study.

2. How would you describe your level of satisfaction with working hours? Does it fit with
your personal/family life as a single/married teacher? (Paano mo ilalarawan ang level of
satisfaction mo sa ibinigay na oras ng pagtatrabaho bilang guro? Ito ba ay sapat upang
magkaroon ka rin ng tamang panahon sa iyong personal/ pampamilyang buhay?)

3. How would you manage emergency tasks/reports when you are not actually at work
and beyond your working hours? (Paano mo pinamamahalaan ang mga hindi inaasahang
gawain o reports labas na sa oras ng iyong aktuwal na pagtatrabaho bilang guro?)
4. How often do you usually miss out quality time with your family and friends because of
pressure at work? How does your family respond to it? (Gaano kadalas na nakaliligtaan
o nababaliwala mo ang kalidad na oras na dapat mong ilaan sa iyong pamilya at mga
kaibigan dahil sa pressure ng trabaho? Paano ito tinatanggap ng iyong pamilya at
kaibigan?)
5. How do you care for and handle yourself with work stress-related problems (emotional
constraints, sickness, burnout, financial instability, etc.? (Paano mo pinangangalagaan
ang iyong sarili sa mga problema sa trabaho bilang guro, maging ito man ay sa usaping
emosyonal, pagkakasakit, sobrang kapaguran, kakulangan sa kinikita, atbp.?)

1. How does the school initiate management of work for each teacher? Does it require
more time on your work rather than your personal/ family life as a single/married
teacher? (Paano pinangangasiwaan ng eskuwelahan ang trabaho ng bawat guro? Ito ba ay
nangangailangan ng mas maraming oras kaysa sa oras na inilalaan sa
personal/pampamilyang buhay ng isang walang asawa/may pamilyang guro?)
3. Do you work for long hours or overtime and even holidays sacrificing the time to be
spent with your personal/family life as a single/married teacher? (Nagtatrabaho ka ba ng
mas mahabang oras kahit na mga espesyal na okasyon at walang pasok, at naisasakripisyo
mo ang oras na dapat ay ilaan sa iyong personal/pampamilyang buhay bilang isang walang
asawa/may pamilyang guro?)

4. How would you handle your personal aspects of life (physical health-being, social
mobility, mental/emotional balances, spiritual aspirations, and family member’s
attitudes towards work) over the pressures at work? (Paano mo pinangangasiwaan ang
iyong personal na aspeto ng buhay ( pisikal na kalusugan, pakikipagkapuwa-tao, balanseng
pag-iisip, mataas na ispirituwalidad, at pananaw/pagtanggap ng pamilya sa uri ng trabaho)
