or the Heliocentric Theory of the universe. It is the idea that
rejected Ptolemaic model and proved the hellocentric model.
CHARLES DARWIN
- Darwin's greatest contribution to science is that he completed

the Copernican Revolution by drawing out for biology the

notion of nature as a system of matter in motion governed
by natural laws. With Darwin’s discovery of natural selection,
laws. With Darwin’s discovery of natural selection, the origin
and adaptations of organisms were brought into the realm of
science. The Darwinian revolution started when Charles Darwin
published his book “ The Origin of Species” that emphasizes
that humans are the result of an evolution.

SIGMUND FREUD
- started to revolutionize Psychiatry. This includes the “
Theory of Personality” that involves the human
development contributing to his/ her personality and also
his “ psychoanalysis” that is the process for achieving
proper functioning if a human does not complete his/ her
developmental stage.

2. In Meso-America the Maya civilization made the greatest

progress in science and technology. Among its innovations were
the position-value number system with zero, the development of
the most accurate known calendar, the invention of rubber and
the corbelled arch .

2. Present your work in a short bond paper compiled in a clear folder.
Printed and with pictures.
3. What can you say about the so called cocktail drug that has been
discovered by Dr. Fabunan that can cure COVID-19. Do a research
about it and make a reaction.
4. Watch on Youtube “ The Greatest Inventions of the World”.
5. Write your reactions about the video.

of mammalian ecology and taxonomy, cave biology,
conservation biology, and bat virology. He has published either as
sole or co-author 26 scientific papers in ISI-indexed and prestigious
high-impact journals.

B. LUCILLE ABAD
