VIDEO GAMES
Ø The younger generation today or I might say the millennials, grow up in a
digital world. They are entertained by using computer devices. And the major
component of that entertainment comes from the form of videogames. It can
be educational games or mind twister or building and constructing games, to
ones that entail physical interaction by the user (sports, fitness, dance). As of
today, there are also popular games of strategy, war, and a mythical world
that employ amazingly complex and realistic graphics, motion sound, and
other special sound effects.

DIGITAL PAINTING
Ø Digital painting is a method of creating artwork using a computer. Digital
painting still makes use of traditional painting medium such as acrylic paint,
oils, ink, etc. It also applies the pigment to the traditional surfaces such as
canvas, paper, polyester, etc. It is the art of painting right to the computer
using computer or tablet screen as your canvas. The brush for drawing and
painting is simulated by the mouse or a graphic tablet and pen. Photoshop
(by adobe.com), Painter 2015 (corel.com), and Rebelle
escapermotion.com) are some software program needed to be installed in the
computer for digital painting.

VIDEO TECHNOLOGY/IMAGING VIDEO

Social Media Purposes:

Ø Another tremendously powerful and innovative field that digital technology

has revolutionized is the creation and presentation of videos. Video is a
recording of moving picture and sound, especially as a digital file, DVD, etc.
The explosion of social media in recent decades has provided a new platform
for video materials targeting the netizens of today. Not only are there online
advertisements that continuously bombard the user’s computer screens and
mobile phone displays. But there are also millions of personally produced
videos that are constantly uploaded to online platforms like Youtube- from
music, dance, and stage performances to tutorials of all kinds etc. Again, the
digital technology to capture and edit such videos is contained right in tablet
and android phone.

Medical Scientific Purposes:

Ø Another extremely valuable use of today’s video technology is that a of imaging

video in the field of medicine and science. You may be familiar with Magnetic
Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT scan) is used to
create and record visual images of a patient internal anatomy in order to
diagnose and treat diseases and injuries. There is also ultrasound test, which
translate sound waves bouncing off physical object into images that can be
studied whether a baby developing in the womb growths or malformations
inside the body, etc.
