 Can you tell me about a memorable experience you had at a restaurant?
Yes. It was 3 years ago on my older cousin’s party in a wedding restaurant.
But this wedding didn’t look like any other wedding parties that I used to be
invited. This wedding had a magic trick show, and the special thing of the
performance is that the magician put a fur into a hat and turn it into a bird.
That was my first time to see a magician use animals in magic trick.
 Do you think that it is important to know how to cook?
In my opinion, I would say no because many people tend to work around the
clock or live alone so they don’t have time to cook. They often choose to
buy food on food delivery app, or eat at a restaurant.
 Which city are you living in
Well, my hometown is Ho Chi Minh city, which is the biggest city of
Vietnam. Despite the fact that this city has a lot of drawbacks, I enjoy living
here.
 Which part of your hometown attracts you the most
To be honest, I would say I like everything. But what I like the most is its
conviennce. I can buy any goods at grocery stores or convenience stores just
a few steps. I can choose with a huge selection of various restaurants in
HCM city. Or, if I don’t have time to eat out or cook, I can use the delivery
app to order food.
 How long are you going to stay there
It's been 20 years since I was born in Saigon city. Its simply because it
contain many my childhood.
 is your hometown suitable for children to grow up
Sadly, I would say no. Like other cities, the city is not a place for children to
grow up because of lacking place for kid to do physical activities. Also, in
the city there is too much vehicle smoke that affects the health of children

2. Are there any restaurants you can recommend in your hometown?

Well, let me think, I would definitely say yes. When you come to Saigon I would like to
recommend a best restaurant called Ran Bien. This seafood restaurant is known for its
enthusiastic and attentive customer service. Besides/ Next/Moreover The food is also brought
to the table rapidly. Especially, Seafood ingredients are shipped from various coastal
provinces in Vietnam according to the interview of the restaurant’s owners.
3. What do you think makes a restaurant great?
In my opinion, a good restaurant needs to have attractive presented dishes that give diners
appetites. Next, it must have at least two special promotions to attract diners. These elements
will make customers to return there. For example, I usually go to my favourite BBQ
restaurant near my house because it always provide a “come 4 pay 3” voucher for any
customers. It means you come in group of 4, you will pay for 3 only.
Communicating directly/ Communicate in person.
Well, I would say no. Because I am not good at communiting directly. Instead, I
likely to use online flatforms such as zalo or messenger to keep regular contact
with my friends and my family.
I am often off topic in face-to-face conversation

national public holiday. It is simply because this is the day that all
members of family reunion, especially in rural areas.

first day of tet is every adult guests must to give the lucky money for the
host children.

culture in a country. And it play a important role for adults to have
vacations after a long time of exhausting work.

get ready for a new one, and it held in the early evening. This is the day
that all members of family gather together to have party.
6. Are there any special food connected with the holiday
Oh yes, that is an interesting question. For tet holiday, the traditional food
that cannot be missed is new year snack platter. It is include pastries,
candíes, sweets, dry fruits are arranged in each empty slot of the platter.
They are often used by host to treat guests.
In many countries today, people in cities either live alone or in small family
units, rather than in large, extended family groups. Is this a positive or
negative trend?
Is it true that smaller families nowaday are becoming more common in cities,
while extended family are less popular. In my view, this is a good development.
The initial reason for this is about the private and personal space. An nuclear
family members may have their desired personal space as there are few people
in the house, so they don’t worry about someone disturbance them. For example,
when a members out of house, the others feel comfortable and safe because they
believe that no one cannot interfere their activities.
On the other hand, there are a huge distance between how older and younger
generation view the world and life concept that may not suitable for both sides.
If the parenting concept of grandparents is make the child become success by
hitting them when they make mistake, then the parents think as a violence
behavior.
