7th Birthday Party

Parents & Gabbie Sings “Happy Birthday”
Karen puts Birthday Hat on Gabbie
Dan gets the cake *Insert Title”

DAN
“Make a wish anak”

Gabbie closes her eyes then blows the candles

Dan and Karen will clap

SEQ.2. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Parents give dolls to Gabbie

KAREN
“Sweetheart, look” gives Barbie

DAN
“Syempre hindi magpapatalo si papa” gives Ken

KAREN
May isa pa kaming surprise sayo

Karen and Dan puts blindfold on Gabbie then walks her towards the dollhouse
Gabbie runs towards the dollhouse
 GABBIE
“Thank you mama, thank you papa!”

Gabbie starts playing with the dollhouse. At this point, the situation of the family will reflect on
the way Gabbie plays with the dollhouse.

SEQ.3. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

The next day is normal. Gabbie goes down the stairs to play with her dolls

SEQ.4. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Karen is preparing while Dan is reading the newspaper. The topic of Karen being a contractual
worker causes a subtle conflict between the two.

DAN
“Malapit na matapos kontrata mo ah”

KAREN
“Alam ko, ginagawan ko naman ng paraan”

SEQ.5. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

The whole family is supposed to watch a movie, but Karen does not join the other two because
she is dealing with their financial problems
Gabbie will go to her mom (pa akyat ng stairs)

GABBIE
“Ma, what movie will we watch?”

KAREN
Anak I’m doing something important. Kayo muna ni papa manuod
DAN
Gabbie come here. Let’s watch your favorite movie

Gabbie will go to his dad

Only Dan and Gabbie will watch the movie.
*Scenes of Father and Daughter Bonding*

SEQ.6. INT. LIVING ROOM OF ANGELA. MORNING.

Karen goes down the stairs and sees Dan sleeping on the couch.
Karen taps Dan on the shoulder and whispers

KAREN
“Malalate ka na.”

Dan quietly gets away from the couch so that Gabbie does not wake up.

SEQ.7. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Gabbie plays with only the barbie doll.
Karen was sitting on the couch looking for a job, then Gabbie (and her barbie doll) will sit with
her

GABBIE
“Mama kamukha mo si barbie”

KAREN
“Alam mo, ganyan din itsura ko dati”

GABBIE
Eh di si papa, si ken?”

Karen will tell Gabbie their *Love Story* (pwedeng hindi naka mute, onting dialouge so we can
give a little background sa story nila)

SEQ.8. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Karen will look at her watch

KAREN
“Malapit na umuwi papa mo, magluluto muna ako nak”

Karen will go to the kitchen, and will start to cook

They will still be laughing together

SEQ.9. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Their laughter will be cut short
Dan’s finally at home (badtrip)
*silence* Gabbie and Karen will look at each other
Gabbie will set aside her dolls on the table and then they will eat together as a family
Dan will bump on the Ken doll and it will fall to the ground
Gabbie will try to get the doll but it will be stomped on by dan
Gabbie will sulk over the action
Gabbie will be scolded by her father

DAN
“GABBIE” (Angry)

Karen will glare at her Husband

SEQ.10. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Gabbie will run towards the dollhouse
Gabbie will hear karen scolding dan in the background

KAREN
“Ano nanaman ba nangyayari sayo?!”

DAN
“Bakit ba?”

Gabbie will peek on their fight before running towards her doll again to recreate the scene of
them fighting

SEQ.11. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Timelapse of their bills accumulating while scenes of Gabbie holding her dolls also flashes
The flashes of the dolls will be recreating the parents’ fight
There will be a sudden close up of Barbie’s clothes
It will zoom out to Gabbie’s own clothes (change filter)
Gabbie will take the role of barbie

SEQ.12. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

The scene will shift to Gabbie cooking. Gabbie will place the food on the table
On the other end of the table is Martin who does not move
There will be a silent dinner with only Gabbie smiling, symbolizing a happy marriage.

SEQ.13.INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

(There will be background music at this point. The scene will have no dialogue, and will focus
more on facial expressions and nonverbal communication.)
There will be a scene where Gabbie is cleaning
The Happy mood/vibe will still be present
Scene of their date outside
There will be a scene of them watching a movie with Gabbie leaning on Martin(Doll)

SEQ.14. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

Scene of confrontation
“Ken” does not react to anything, but Gabbie is crying.She will start shouting at “Ken”

GABBIE
“Tigilan mo na Dan. Ayoko na magpanggap”

Dan’s voice will reply, but the sound quality of his vocals will be cloudy
DAN
“BAKIT BA KAREN? WALA NA BA SAYO TO?”

*back to reality
The voices will still be heard in the background

SEQ.15. INT. HOUSE OF ANGELA. AFTERNOON.

KAREN
“TAMA NA WALA NA SI GABBIE” (Shout)

Scene will revert back to reality, of the dollhouse untouched
