Reflection: Write your reflection by completing the following statements.

I realized that learners really vary in learning styles. It is important to accommodate
their needs in order for an effective learning to happen. Respect for individual
differences is really a must. Linking ideas in real life is also essential so that the
students will have a better understanding of the lesson through localized examples.
In addition, I also realized that teachers’ strategies in introducing the lesson will
really have an impact in a student’s academic performance.

I believed it is essential to revisit the strategies in teaching so that transfer of

learning will be visible. It is very important to encourage students to become active
learners. Respecting their own principles and beliefs should also be considered in
order to create a positive learning environment because in this way, students will be
more fascinated and more involved in the lesson since they are comfortable and the
learning environment is appropriate and conducive.

From now on, I am determined to commit in doing my best to prepare my lesson

plans, intructional materials and other essentials in teaching so I can make a positive
impact. Although, unforeseen challenges will test our patience like lack of resources
or natural reasons that could hamper the learning, I am motivated to think calmly in
order to find solutions and still deliver the lessons well. Furthermore, I would also put
first the welfare of my students. I will ensure that they will really feel accomodated. I
will strive hard to make constructive criticisms that woule promote growth instead of
adding to their anxiety.
