EXCITE: Read today’s Headlines!

_ _
 Philippines Shifts to K to 12Curriculum
 Expect leaner pandemic curriculum compared to previous years: DepEd
 Duterte signs law restoring GMRC, values educations ubjects

What can you say of these headlines? Do these reflect what are going on in
our schools? Should the public know and be involved in the schooling of their
citizens? What are the implications of each headline to the classroom curriculum
Answer- The K–12 Basic Education Program, the integration of GMRC in
the curriculum, and the decrease of learning competencies in the face of
the pandemic are just some of the major changes of education in the
Philippines. And yes, these reflect what are going on in schools for I know
that the councils on education continually develop their approach to
achieve better education regardless the situation. Pandemic can be a
blessing in disguise it depends on how we look at it. As what I’ve seen, we
all manage to start adjusting ourselves, pushing to our limits to achieve our
goals. We learned as we experience hardships. As for the classroom
curriculum, these headlines reflect that the world is changing, and that
we should also change our ways on dealing the world. To avoid being left.
This also implies that changes require a lot of courage to accept and
implement.
