Narrate your reason/s why you chose to become a teacher. Is this your personal choice?
If yes, why? If not, share your reasons and other thoughts.

Being a daughter of a teacher, there’s a possibility that at a young age, you can really
say that you are going to follow the footsteps of your parents, which is to teach, but in my
case it’s not. When I was in kindergarten, I could still remember going up to the stage during
our culmination and my exact line was “when I grow up ,I want to be a nurse.” Taking
education as a course for college was only my second choice, I am into the medical field.I
was in senior high when I finally decided that I will be taking Bachelor of Science in Medical
Technology but unfortunately, for some reasons, I have to go with my second choice which is
Education. Coming up with the last minute decision was not an easy adjustment, but with the
help of my parents, I slowly accepted the fact that education is for me. Despite not going with
my dream course, I am enjoying the field I am with right now.
