Commissioning Protocol for CONCYCLE® – Wind – Power Plant

Introduction

Mounting and operation of low-voltage-systems:

1. The customer has carried out the tests as per IEC 60364-6-61 prior to commissioning of the CONCYCLE®
Wind System.
2. The requirements of the UVV – BGV A3 (particularly the five safety rules) are adhered to during all work
processes.
Before any work is started, the mains must be disconnected, secured against automatic reclosing, short-
circuited, earthed and the switching range must be blocked.
3. Automatic fuse, motor protection switches and circuit breakers of the Woodward SEG switchboard are
neither charged nor switched on. This has to be done either by the Woodward SEG service technician or by
persons trained and instructed by Woodward SEG!
4. Commissioning of the CONCYCLE® Wind System has to be carried out in accordance with these
instructions and care must be taken that all points are correctly processed and documented.
5. The jobs listed in Section one (“I. Working in uncharged state”) form the basis of commissioning without
problems. This section has to be completely processed and documented by the customer and a copy of the
protocol sent to the Woodward SEG Service Department. The copy of the protocol is the prerequisite for
dispatching an Woodward SEG service technician.
6. All jobs described in section “II. Working under live conditions (function tests and parameter setting)” may
only be carried out by skilled personnel which has been trained and instructed by Woodward SEG!

Mounting and operation of medium-voltage-systems:

For mounting and operation you have to consider the relevant appointments, particularly:

• DIN VDE 0101, Errichten von Starkstromanlagen mit Nennspannungen über 1kV (Erection of Power
Installations with nominal voltages up to 1000V)
• EN 50110/VDE 0105, Betrieb von elektrischen Anlagen (Operation of electrical plants)
• DIN VDE 0141, Erdungen für Starkstromanlagen mit Nennspannungen über 1 kV (Earthing of Power
Installations with nominal voltages up to 1000V)
• Accidental regulation of the employers´ liability insurance association or comparable organisations in
Germany are this among other things:
- BGV A1 and BGV A3, specifications from employers liability insurance association
• Safety recommendation for operating supplies
• Order related data from the switch board manufacturer
