Subject: Motivation letter for Scholarship Approval

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing this letter to express the current situation that is going on in my life and why I am
applying for scholarship for my undergraduate studies.

It is always my wish to study abroad but the only thing that pulls me back are financial issues. My
family is just a middle-class family and only my father is the one who is responsible to pay for my
fees and my other 3 siblings. My mother is a tailor who can only afford money for food to support
the family. My father’s salary is not enough to pay for my undergraduate studies and even
application fee to study abroad. He always supported me and now I graduated from high school
obtaining high grades and being one of the best students at my school.

My family income can not cover my fees for undergraduate studies. It can only cover food costs and
education fees for my little sisters. I am working hard to study abroad but I can not afford the money
to study abroad.

It was always my dream to do my undergraduate studies abroad and now I am looking forward in
getting a scholarship which I can get a chance to study abroad, so I will utilize this golden chance that
hit once in my life. This is such any extraordinary chance that can only make my dream come true.
This can even make my parents be relieved from stress and can even make them live a normal and
stable life.

In conclusion, I will do the most out of this scholarship program and I am looking forward to your
nomination.
