Vocab slides: Practice the vocabulary slides to check retention.
Show picture first, let students guess (as a class and/or individual) then show the
vocabulary and practice again (as a class and individual)
REMINDER: Correct students’ pronunciation. Focus on the highlighted letters for each
word. Sentences: Practice the sentences with all the vocabs. Use pair work to increase speaking time.
TEACHERS SHOULD NOT ASK THE QUESTIONS.
S1 asks and completes the sentence, S2 answers using the correct vocabulary to match S1, S2 asks,
S3 answers etc. Focus on correcting students' grammar to practice the new rules.
EXPANDING: Use the same structured sentences. Students think of new words. Blank out the
main vocabs, or annotate the sentence on a different page/screen.
Spend time to achieve progression over multiple lessons.

EXPLAIN: Each sentence slide has a ‘REMEMBER’ speech balloon with tips to help the
students. Explain the speech balloon on each slide before practicing the sentences.
Use a reward system (stars, points. Stickers, etc) after each slide.

3. Repeat above for the second part of vocabs and sentences.

4. Assign Homework (5 min)


Hang Out 1 Workbook 20+21+Worksheet U2.pdf + MP3 Audio files file and explain the homework
assignment briefly. The TA will assist the parents after class where needed.
Use a reward system (stars, points. stickers, etc) and let students know who is the winner of class.

Teacher’s games till the end of class related to the unit.
