Technique Effective Reduction Clearing Agent

Sapcopan 2544 is a low foaming reduction clearing agent for disperse dyed and printed
polyester textiles.

Properties : - Removes unfixed disperse dyestuffs along with

fibre lubricants in single after - scour process.
- Replaces Sodium Hydrosulphite in R/C process.
- Replaces detergents used in after treatment.
- Has high dispersing power at high temperatures.
- Reducing action developes in alkaline medium above 700C.
- Prevents redeposition of oligomers.

Guide recipes : Reduction Clear Treatment –

a) Disperse Dyeings : On Jet, Winch, Jigger, Beam, Package dyeing machines.

1 - 2 g/l Sapcopan 2544

1 - 2 g/l Caustic soda flakes
At 70 - 800C. for 15 - 20 min.

b) Disperse Prints : On continuous Washing machine.

1st Bath : 1 g/l Sapcopan 2544
2 - 4 g/l Sodium hydrosulphite (to enhance reducing action at low temp.)
2 - 3 g/l Caustic flakes
At room temp.

2nd & 3rd Bath : 2 - 6 g/l Sapcopan 2544

1 - 3 g/l Caustic flakes
At 70 - 800C

Rinse Bath & Final Bath :

Rinse with decreasing temp.from 800C to room temp.
Neutralise.
To maintain the dosage add every 20 - 30 minutes 1/3rd amount of Sapcopan 2544 and
1/6th amount of caustic soda.

c) Machine Cleaning -

3 - 4 g/l Sapcopan 2544

2 - 4 g/l Sapcoclean TW liq.
2 - 3 g/l Caustic soda flakes
At 900C for 30 min.

Special remarks :
Storage stability : At least 12 months under standard storage conditions.
