DOCUMENTS AND RECORDS COMMITTEE

Documents and records committee addresses both the use and maintenance of documents and
records. The goal of keeping documents and records is to find information whenever it is
needed.

Documents and records committee of the Emergency Department of Dr. PJGMRMC ensures the
safekeeping of relevant documents and records as well as monitoring of circulating controlled
documents. Cloud-based storage is also being utilized since the introduction of ER’s
A.N.D.R.E.W. to aid for a convenient access of ER leaders and staff.

The following are the findings of the documents and records committee from March 1, 2023 to
March 31, 2023.

 Some ED staff failed to fill out the time out on the attendance sheets.

 Several of the ED bloters from Admitting Department that have not been updated are
still in use.

 The omission of Time and Date at the Laboratory Logbook is still noticed Despite New
Logbooks of Emergency Medicines and Laboratory Receiving for All Cubicles.

The above findings were brought out to the unit supervisors for their feedback and suggestions.
