• Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala informed that the plan to set up a heliport
in Sector-84 of Gurugram is in the final stage.
• The government has suggested opening of academies in Patli-Hajipur cabin-crew
training and ATL Sohna for pilot and under the simulator.
29. The Education Department has launched the Mentor app to check the intellectual level
of students studying in classes I to III in government schools in Haryana.
30. The Cabinet meeting held in Chandigarh on February 2, 2023 under the chairmanship of
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal approved the proposal to amend the rule of
Haryana Civil Services (Pay) Rules, 2016.
• Rule 56 amends the fixation of salary on re-employment of a retired employee,
including contributory provident fund or defined contributory pension scheme
benefits.

34. The first phase of Delhi Mumbai Expressway has started from Sohna in Haryana to Dausa
in Rajasthan.
35. To promote AYUSH in Haryana, a new policy “Policy for Certification and Standardization
of AYUSH Facilities” has been implemented by the government.
• Policy for Certification and Standardization of AYUSH Facilities has been
implemented to promote AYUSH system and related facilities in Haryana.
• The policy will be valid upto October 31, 2027.
• The key objective of the policy is to enhance coverage of health care system through
cost effective AYUSH Medical Services by focusing on core competency areas of
AYUSH through identification and operationalization of a network of AYUSH
Dispensaries/clinics, Panchakarma Centres, AYUSH Hospitals in private sector to
provide services based on holistic wellness model embedded in AYUSH principles
and practices, so as to empower masses for "self-care" to reduce the disease burden,
and out of pocket expenditure.
• It is also envisaged in the reduction of communicable/non-communicable diseases
through targeted public health programmes under AYUSH system of medicine.
36. The Haryana Police has successfully implemented modern policing much-awaited
project Inter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS).
• The responsibility of implementation of the ICJS project in the state lies with the
State Crime Records Bureau.
• The Inter-operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) conceptualised by the eCommittee,
Supreme Court of India and implemented as a project under the Ministry of Home
Affairs, seeks to enable seamless transfer of data and information among different
pillars of the criminal justice system, like courts, police, jails and forensic science
laboratories, from one platform.

37. A comprehensive cashless health insurance scheme (CCIS) has been prepared by the
Haryana Health Department, which will soon be presented to the Chief Minister for
approval.
• The scheme is expected to benefit about 3.35 lakh families (about 14.30 lakh
persons) employees including boards and corporations.
38. State-level celebrations were organized to mark the 646th birth anniversary of Guru
Ravidas in Yamunanagar, Gurugram and Jind districts of Haryana.
• The medical college to be built in Rasulpur village of Fatehabad district will be named
Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas.
39. Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal formally inaugurated the 35th Spring Festival
at Yavnika Town Park in Sector 5, Panchkula

India’s first hydrogen train on the Kalka-Shimla narrow gauge railway track (a
UNESCO World Heritage Site) by December 2023.

• Haryana Agricultural Development Fair-2023 is being organized to make the
progressive farmers of the state aware of new agricultural techniques.
43. State Level honor Ceremony in Karnal on International Women’s Day:

• 40 women have been honoured for outstanding work in various fields in the
program, while for the upliftment of the girl child for the National Girl Child Day 62
awards were given Awards.
• The first Sushma Swaraj Award was given in the program, in which an amount of five
lakh rupees was given. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 1.50 lakh was given under
the Indira Gandhi Mahila Shakti Award.
44. The three-day 39th Haryana Livestock Exhibition-2023 was organized in Charkhi Dadri.
• At the conclusion of the Exhibition, Chief Minister informed that six polyclinics would
be set up in the state for the care of animals.

• Apart from this, the budget of Gau Sewa Aayog has been increased 10 times to Rs
400 crore for the care of cattle in the state.
45. Home Minister Anil Vij put the President’s mark batch on the side of Ambala
Cantonment Police Station Inspector Naresh Kumar at Janata Darbar set up for the
people of Cantonment assembly constituency at rest house.
• He said that Haryana is the tenth state in the country which has got the President’s
flag and the President’s flag is given only after seeing the record of the last 25 years.
• Haryana Police was awarded the President’s Insignia by Union Home Minister Amit
Shah in Karnal on February 15.
46. Central university of Haryana has recently got the patent for Calcium Fortified Ghee.
• They have prepared ghee which is made by using calcium, a nutritious element
available in millets.
• Dr. Savita Budhwar, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutritional Biology of the
University; Prof. Suneel Kumar, Department of Physical and Astrophysical Sciences
and research scholar Manali Chakraborty have done this remarkable work.
47. Foot Massage Device designed by a Researcher at Central University of Haryana, gets
Patent.

• Pradeep Kumar, a researcher of the department, has obtained a patent for the
design of an instrument related to Indian acupressure therapy. In this, a foot
massager device has been developed, which is going to give agility to those who
work continuously by sitting.
• This device works without electricity. This device made of wood will be very light and
beautiful as well as easy to keep in any place.

48. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal inaugurated the poetry works of famous writer

Hindi Convention held in Mauritius.
49. In MDU, the foundation stone of Dayanand Centre for Vedic and Yogic Studies has been

54. Haryana Government Issued Notification of Merger of Departments:
• ‘Energy Department’ by merging the Department of New and Renewable Energy
with the Department of Power
• The Department of Forest and Wildlife and The Department of Environment and
Climate Change has been merged to change its name to ‘Department of
Environment, Forest and Wildlife’.
• The Department of Archaeology and Museums has been merged with the
Department of Tourism and renamed as ‘Department of Heritage and Tourism’.

Education and Department of Science and Technology has been merged to rename
the new department as ‘Department of Higher Education’.
• After the merger of the Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Department

‘Social Justice and Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare
and Antyodaya Department’

• Haryana Government has constituted a new department by the name of Youth

55. The buffalo (Reshma) that created the national record for giving the highest milk in the
country belongs to Kaithal district of Haryana.
• Reshma, a Murrah breed of the buffalo sets new world record by giving 33.8 litres of
milk in Haryana's Kaithal district.
• The fat content in the milk has been ranked as a 9.31 on 10.

60. Dr. Amit Agarwal, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Haryana and
Director General of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture, inaugurated
the Chief Minister's Gift Portal at Sant Kabir Kutir.
61. Along with the construction of a ropeway from Mata Mantra Devi Temple to Adi Badri
in Himachal Pradesh, the mountainous area from Kalka to Kalesar of Shivalik Hills will be
developed as pilgrimage.
• For this, the public works (building and roads) department will explore the possibility
of constructing a 10-meter wide road.
• These efforts of the government will promote tourism in the state, while local
people will also get employment opportunities.
62. Chief Minister Khattar laid the foundation stone of a memorial to revive the saga of
bravery and sacrifice of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur at Lohgarh, Yamuna Nagar, the first

capital of the Sikh Raj established by Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. Lohgarh will be
developed as a mini city.
63. Rewari railway station of Haryana has been selected for Amrit Bharat Mission.
64. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 97th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Started from Kirmach
Village of Kurukshetra
• In this, the Prime Minister gave many important messages, including the production of
millets, deepening of democracy, extracting the best from e-waste.
• This time the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program broadcasted in Haryana, Bihar, Chhattisgarh,
Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya,
Rajasthan, Telangana, Etc. Tripura and Uttar Pradesh are directly connected.
• In this, farmer Dhumman Singh was selected from booth number 180 Kalu Patti of
Kirmach Village of Kurukshetra, the only village from Haryana.
• The Prime Minister particularly spoke on coarse cereals, which are the major farming of
Haryana. This has boosted the morale of farmers. His message will promote the cultivation
of coarse grains.
65. Recently, the Women's Studies Research Center at Kurukshetra University has been
approved by the National Commission for Women to provide grants for research
studies.
66. The team of Central University of Haryana will find a solution to the problem of vitamin
D in adolescent girls.
67. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar laid the foundation stone of Naturopathy

90. Haryana Made Many Important Changes in MBBS Bond Policy:

• After the new changes in the MBBS bond policy, while the state has reduced the
time limit of the seven-year bond agreement to 5 years, this five-year has also
included PG studies, that is, in a way, the bond time limit will now be two years
• Apart from this, the bond amount has been reduced from 40 lakh to 30 lakh earlier.
• This policy states that a government job (contracted) will be given to an MBBS
student within one year after studies. Apart from this, if a student takes up a private
job after completing his studies and his salary is less than the salary being paid by
the government to the medical officer, then he will not have to pay the bond
amount unless his salary is equal to or more than the salary of the medical officer.
91. Recently Haryana Human Rights Commission has completed ten years.
92. State level Khelo Haryana sports competition was organized in Rohtak from 16
December to 18 December 2022.
93. By November 2022, the number of leopards has increased to 45 in the hills of Shivalik.
94. In Haryana, the facility to reach the doctor along with the ambulance at the home of
animal parents will be started from January 2023. 70 ambulances will be purchased with
the help of the central government.

95. A GST Tribunal will be formed in the state for the convenience of tax payers and
advocates, which is expected to start by March next. For this, recommendations have
been made to the GST Council.
• At the initial level, it will be started in all the six divisions of the state - Ambala,
Karnal, Rohtak, Hisar, Gurugram and Faridabad, in which taxpayers, tax advocates
and officials will work together once every month to solve tax-related problems.
• The Chief Minister also announced the opening of two Joint ETC Range Appeal
Offices in Hisar and Gurugram to resolve GST related problems.
96. Haryana's first post office export center has been opened in Yamunanagar district.
97. Haryana Government has signed a MoU with Tech Mahindra Company for the overall
development of Polytechnic students in Haryana.
98. Every month electricity bill system will be implemented in Haryana from January 2023.
This system will start from Panchkula, Ambala, Karnal, Gurugram and Faridabad.
99. Haryana Governor has released a book titled Saraswati Nadi and The Aryans written by

107. Haryana Self-reliant Textile Policy 2022-25 has recently been approved, under which
investment of four thousand crores will be made.

108. Under the chairmanship of Dr. Jaideep Arya, Chairman of the Haryana Yoga Commission,
in the joint aegis of the District AYUSH Department and the Haryana Yoga Commission
from January 11 to February 12 across the state Surya Namaskar campaign launched, for which a
target of 75 lakh Surya Namaskar has been set.
• The 7500000 Surya Namaskar campaign launched by state Home and Health
Minister Anil Vij in Ambala, while it was concluded with a state-level program
organized at Bhagat Phool Singh Women’s University in Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, in
which Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was the chief guest.
109. A pension of Rs 2500 per month to patients suffering from rare diseases including
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in the state.
110. The Haryana Government has decided to start a monthly pension of Rs. 2500 for stage-3
and 4 Cancer Patients of the State.
111. A temple will be constructed on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Mata Mansa
Devi Temple of Haryana.
112. Haryana state will prepare scientific research paper on natural farming.
113. Haryana has become the first state in the country to make ration cards through the
Automatic Ration Card Scheme.
114. The Haryana government is celebrating the year 2023 as Antyodaya Arogya Varsh.
