Subject: Review of Your Professional Credibility

Dear Alysse,

Hope you are doing well. I have enjoyed working in a group with you these last few weeks and
your work on the Company Narrative Analysis Presentation was above and beyond. I have
reviewed the presentation a few times and for this assignment I have narrowed my focus on
how you present yourself and the professional credibility you give off.

I observed that you spoke very calm and with a smile which gives off a personal feel in the
presentation. I also observed that you glanced away from the camera occasionally, and you
looked a bit nervous at times. You took a good number of brief pauses in your presentation and
kept your verbal distractors limited. Going forward you may benefit from speaking with more
inflection and more eye contact to appear more confident.

I noticed throughout the presentation when you were not speaking you were still attentive
which is great. It is valuable in a professional setting that all members of the team even the ones
not speaking at the time look engaged so make sure to keep doing that. I believe you were
successful because you limited your behaviors that would undermine your credibility.

The content of your portion of the presentation and the way you explained it built your
professional credibility because it appeared as though you were highly knowledgeable. You
appeared well rehearsed and did not cause unnecessary distractions during your time to speak
or when you were not speaking. I think that you were successful in establishing your
professional credibility.

With all that being said, I believe you can slightly improve your professional credibility going
forward. You have great foundational skills to build off. I believe you could benefit from being
more assertive, including more eye contact, continue to limit verbal distractors, and stay well-
rehearsed in order to establish the highest level of professional credibility. Feel free to reach out
with any questions regarding my feedback at tlenci@arizona.edu.

All the best,

Thomas Lenci
