JOURNAL # 5 (Sambuhay):

“Your Presence Proclaims the Grandeur of God’s Creation!”

1. Have you accomplished faithfully your duties and responsibilities as

steward of God’s creation? How?
Yes, I accomplished faithfully my duties and responsibilities as steward of
God’s creation by taking care of his garden wherein you have to start with
yourself if you want to take care of God's creation. Taking care of your bodily,
emotional, and spiritual needs while being kind to yourself. From there, you
can assist others' efforts to form lasting relationships by acting as a friend,
lover, and devoted family member. Furthermore, be in harmony with nature,
and safeguard His gifts of life and the other people that inhabit this planet.
2. Do you initiate a helping hand in the sustainable development of the
environment? How?
We all make daily decisions in our life that have an impact on the
environment, the climate, and the animals. Yes, I initiate a helping hand in the
sustainable development of the environment through save electricity by turning
off appliances when not in use, stop using plastic, doing the reduce, reuse,
recycle, save water, and plant trees.
3. How do you actively participate in the caring of our common home,
mother earth?
Today’s environmental crisis is having a particularly negative effect on
the vulnerable and impoverished. Christians, along with everyone of good will,
must take immediate action. If we are to be true stewards of this lovely world,
entire nations and peoples must undergo an ecological transformation. Even
now, history is still reversible. Through taking responsibility by doing recycle
trash, don’t waste energy and water, and buy eco-friendly products I actively
participate in the caring of our common home, our mother earth. Additionally,
my tree parenting project is one of my biggest contribution in our community
or achievement because it gives me a lesson and hope that it symbolizes
beautiful world or planet that we can much better place to live. Living in this
world, I have planted many trees in my life. Some have died, most have thrived.
I love trees because it gives peace to our souls, provides fresh air, and protect
our world.
4. What insights did you learn from the Celebration of the Eucharist or
Church Service on April 2, 2023?
On April 02, 2023, the gospel reading was taken from Matthew 26:14-
27:66. On Palm Sunday, the Church as a whole retells the story of what
happened, starting with the Last Supper and moving on through the Garden of
Gethsemane, Christ's trial, mocking lashing, carrying the cross, death by
crucifixion, and burial. The gospel reading for today is horrifying. Additionally,
there are many potent messages about God's unwavering love and mercy for all
of creation in the account of Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection in
Matthew 26:14–27:66. In order to bring redemption to the world, Jesus
underwent a great deal, even agreeing to be killed as a sacrifice to atone for our
sins. This amazing act of self-sacrifice shows how much God loves us and
assures us that no matter what kind of darkness we may encounter, He will
always lead us out of it and into the light. It reminds us of the numerous
confrontations, betrayals, and deception that we have occasionally faced in our
lives. Knowing that God, our fortress and stronghold, is constantly at our side
and would rescue us from our predicament during this time of gloom is
consoling.
