AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE
I, RUELYN C. LAURENTE, a minor, assisted by my mother ANALIE C.
LAURENTE, and resident of Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, after having been sworn to
in accordance with law, hereby depose and state, THAT:

I am the private complainant for Physical Abuse against my father, RUEL M.

LAURENTE, for which I obtained a Barangay Protection Order (BPO);

I am assisted by my mother in filing the case;

I am presently studying and under the care and custody, together with my other
sisters, of my mother;

My mother and I have come to realize that it will be for my best interest to desist
from pursuing this case, so that my studies will not be affected, and we will have peace
of mind in the family;

I am no longer interested in further suing my father as I have already reconciled

with and have forgiven him;

I hereby DESIST from pursuing this case and pray that the barangay Protection
Order be LIFTED/WITHDRAWN immediately, as my mother and I have no more
intention of appearing in any other proceeding much less cooperate as it will affect my
studies and well-being.
