I. INTRODUCTION

Non-reader/ Frustration Level      - is a child who is very low in learning to read.

                           - a child unable to read.
                         - a child who has difficulty in learning to read.
- Kids who are not born readers may find language difficult to learn and struggle
in learning letters, numbers and letter-sound correspondence.

II. OBJECTIVES:
*make every child a reader or with comprehension
*to teach the vast majority of non-reader
                          *to become adequate reader
                          * to introduce letters and signs

III. PROCEDURES:

    1. We need to identify the difficulties that we observe in non-readers and develop an approach
that addresses the phonological, comprehension, fluency or working memory issues that
      underlie the reading problems.
2.Once we have identified the reading deficits, we can help these children to become reader thru
repeated practice with a set of tools that will help them to create pathways their brain for reading.

Learning to read is one of the most difficult tasks the human being faces his/her life. Both the children
and parents /guardians have to go by a lot of labors and difficulties to acquire the skills. It takes months
after months to teach how to read.
In teaching non – readers/ Frustration Level two things are involved:
      1.Reading materials
  2. Teaching methods

Reading strategies for struggling readers can be divided into two parts:
1. Decoding strategies
 2.  Comprehension strategies

Decoding strategies - involves teaching the child reading awareness. Teaching the child, the

literal pronunciation of words by breaking them down into bits & pieces.

Comprehension strategies -  understanding what they read.

HELP NON-READERS/FRUSTRATION LEVEL:

1.Use different strategies like videos and audio or using computers while reading.
  2. Let him read a text/phrases/sentences.
  3. Provide him/her with a partner who can help him/her read.
  4. Form a readers play where readers will come together.
