[BAB I] MANAGEMENT ANALISYS CONNECTING BRIDGE PATIMBAN PORT

BAB I

PLERIMINARY

1.1 BACKGROUND

The reason for the construction of the patimban port is to

facilitate the rate of export and import in the country, besides that, the
construction of the patimban port is expected to facilitate water
transportation, so that from Central Java and East Java it can be
closer than having to go to the port of Tanjung Priuk
Patimban port is a port that is being built in Patimban, Subang
district, West Java. The Patimban port is planned to be built with a
capacity of 2.74 million TEUS on an area of 300 hectares. The total
funds needed are estimated at 43.22 trillion rupiah. 79 percent of the
funds come from the Japanese government's gradual loan, 10
percent from the state budget and 11 percent from business entities
holding concessions
For information, the construction of the Patimban Port will be
carried out in 3 (three) stages. In the first phase, Patimban Port is
planned to be able to serve 3.75 million containers (TEUS) and
600,000 motorized vehicles (CBU). In the second stage, the service
capacity will increase to 5.5 million TEUS and in the third stage it will
increase again to 7.5 million TEUS. (LM)

This port was virtually inaugurated by President Joko Widodo

from the Bogor Presidential Palace on December 20, 2020. In the
first phase, the port is ready to serve 3.75 million containers (TEUS)
and 7 million in the third phase. In the future, it will be synergized
with Tanjung Priok Port and this port is connected to toll road and rail
access. It is planned that it will be completed in 2027

The Indonesian Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) signed

a contract for the Patimban Port Development Project (1) Package 3:
Connecting Bridge with PT Wijaya Karya. Tbk (WIKA) and PT.

Sriwijaya room, Ministry of Transportation, Central Jakarta, Thursday
(13/2)

Director General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of

Transportation Agus H. Purnomo said the development of the
connecting bridge is the third package of the first phase of
construction. Meanwhile, the scope of work includes land clearing,
demolition, excavation of structures, asphalting, concrete structures,
support works, utilities, and installation of water supply pipes.

Construction of Package III: This connecting bridge costs IDR 524

billion and concentrates on the construction of connecting bridges or
connecting access roads to terminals located on reclaimed land
which as a whole is targeted for completion in 2027 Patimban Port.

1.2 PROBLEM FOCUS

Based on the background above, the focus of the problem in
this study was to determine the volume of work, estimated costs and
scheduling of the Package III Connecting Bridge project.
1.3 FORMULATION OF THE PROBLEM
The formulation of the problem from the research conducted is
1. How to calculate the volume of work required?
2. How to calculate the required Job Duration?
3. How to plan a Work Cost budget plan and Cashflow?
4. How is Project Work Scheduling
1.4 SCOPE OF PROBLEM

the Patimban Port Connecting Bridge project.
2. To find out the duration required for this Patimban Port Connecting
Bridge project.
3. To plan the budget for the costs needed to complete the Patimban
Port Connecting Bridge project and find out the cash that must be
issued per period.
4. To find out the schedule for the implementation of the Patimban
Port Connecting Bridge work until it is finished.
1.6 RESEARCH FUNCTION
