COURSE 1 – INTRODUCTION TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP OVERVIEW ENTREPRENEURSHIP This is a combination of Art and Science. Both elements are essential in developing your business knowledge and management skills. The order of Arts of Entrepreneurship consists of: Creativity Risk Taking Passion Hard-work Resilience Discipline The Science aspect consists of: Strategic Planning Marketing Accounting Finance & Reporting Management Business Management This training has been designed to inculcate in you the required knowledge, skills and attitude that will help your business stand the test of time, even in a successful manner. TIPS FOR COACH/MENTOR RELATIONS i. Be clear and concise with your messages, so your coach can respond appropriately. If you receive messages that are not clear, seek clarification. ii. Agree on schedule and communication channels. iii. Avoid spamming your mentor…don’t bombard your coach with messages.
