It is some time believed that teaching children good behavior in addition to providing formal

education is the responsibility of schools. While I understand why some people may oppose this
opinion, I still strongly agree with it for several reason.
Opponents of this view may have several arguments. They may well argue that schools are more
than just academic institutions, and I believed they also play a vital role in shaping the character
of their student. The reason for this is that teacher serve as role model for children, and they
are responsible for teaching positive values and good behavior to students. Another possible
argument is that schools helps their student to equipped necessary skills that will develop
children into responsible citizen. For example, many Japanese schools have adopted anti-
bullying campaings that teach students about respect, empathy and kindness towards others.
Nevertheless, I still agree that schools environment can profoundly impact their behavior and
academic performance for several reasons. Chief among these is that schools can foster positive
relationships between teachers and students.
