Learning standard: 4.3.1 Use capital letters ,full stops , question marks , 2.1.5 Describe people and objects using
and commas in lists appropriately in guided writing suitable statements
at discourse level
Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to use capital letters, full stops and commas in at least 5
sentences correctly.
Objectives
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to describe people to fill in at least 4 blanks
correctly.
Teaching aids LCD CCE: Language
Pupils do a recap on main format of an email.
Pre Lesson
1. Pupils refer to textbook page 11 to read the email again.
2. Pupils are shown another picture and an email text with blanks. Pupils are called out to the front to fill in the
blanks as other friends guide them orally.
Lesson Development
3. Pupils write an email about themselves in their exercise books to reply the email from the textbook (M).
Pupils are guided to write sentences (L).

Pupils exchange books with their friends from other groups to read their email write-up.

Post Lesson
*Pupils are asked to bring coloured papers

Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and write at least 5 correct answers.
Objectives
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and cancel out the correct country’s
name.
Teaching aids LCD CCE: Language
Pupils recap on is, are, am.
Pre Lesson
1. Pupils are given a task sheet consisting of questions or pupils copy the questions that have been written on
the board by the teacher.
2. Pupils are explained about the listening task. Pupils must listen to the story and answer the questions in the
task sheet.
Lesson Development
3. CD 1 Track 16 is played. Pupils listen and answer the questions.
4. Audio is replayed for pupils to check.
5. Pupils refer to textbook page 12 and 13. Pupils read the story and check their answers.

Pupils play the Bingo game with all the names of the countries that they have learnt.
