What is the meaning in Spanish?

Observe there is only one form in Spanish; but in English there is a singular form to refer to one
object or person and a plural form to refer to more than one.

Any / some

Some refers to an indefinite quantity in affirmative sentences.

In Spanish: algún, alguna, algunos, algunas

Any refers to an indefinite quantity in negative.

In Spanish: ningún, ninguna, ningunos, ningunas

In general, any also refers to an indefinite quantity in interrogative sentences.

In Spanish: algún, alguna, algunos, algunas
