An absorbing series

“You” is hands down the best philological thriller series I have ever watched. It was released
in 2018 and created by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti.

The plot revolves around a single young boy who falls in love with a female writer who was
looking for a book to buy, in the library he works in. The main character, the boy, called “Joe”
has worked as a manager in that library because of his passion for books since he was a child.

What caught up my attention was that the boy became obsessed with the girl, to the point
of chasing her. It had me on the edge of my seat, because furthermore, the soundtrack is
absolutely flawless. It combines suspenseful music and even romantic melodies, which made
that scenes and chapters were more gripping, I was over the moon while listening to them!

However, I was rather disappointed with the ending, which keeps you confusing and a little
bit nervous. It leaves you craving for answers, so let´s hope a new season soon!

I´d recommend this show to anyone who likes this genre of series. Why don´t you take up a
new hobby to do in your spare time? It will definitely have you glued to the TV, because what
you less expect to happen, ends up happening.

A compelling restaurant in New York

“The flavour” is an American restaurant located in a welcoming neighbourhood. In fact, it is

within walking distance of the the city centre. I went there for a couple of weeks, while on
vacation with my family.

The menu offered a wide range of dishes, not only traditional burgers but also introducing
innovative options such as a recipe called “Delight”, which included impressive cocktails. What
´s more, we ordered home-made desserts such as a chocolate ice-cream and a pie, which were
available for a very low price. Therefore, it is great value for money. The food was without a
doubt completely mouth-watering. Moreover, the staff were highly professional and very
friendly, always making sure we were enjoying the meal and having the enough drinks on the
table. Regarding to the place, it has an utterly beautiful architecture, the walls were decorated
and even the chosen music was enjoyable. When my friends and me decided to go to this
restaurant, we hit the nail on the head!

However, we were disappointed when we couldn´t pay with debit or credit, so make sure
you take physical money with you in advance.

If you are in New York, you can´t miss it! The spot is really well run, so, if I were you, I´d
book a table right now without any doubt!

Learning while enjoying that process

Fortunately, I´ve been studying English with a private teacher for about eight years now, I
started when I was only twelve years old.

Although I take online lessons, I had the opportunity to meet her face to face, since she
went to the school I was in and told as abut her academy. Sincerely, If I had known how much I
was going to learn, I would have signed up before. I´ve learnt not only vocabulary but also
grammar. As for the course structure, it was easy to follow and very straightforward. It consists
of a wide range of activities, such as multiple choice exercises and even listening to songs and
filling in empty spaces, to improve our listening skill.

Moreover, the class size is small, which allow for individual attention, so the teacher could
answer all your questions quickly. Furthermore, classes are of forty minutes each, what I find
as a gripping way of teaching. Also, they are online, which avoids you to have to get a transport
to come there if you live a long away, although it might be a disadvantage for those students
who are more prone to be distracted.

I´m sure you won´t regret taking her classes, she´s a very inspiring and kind teacher! Don´t
miss it, give it a go!

CONCERT REVIEW WANTED

Did you attend the school band concert last June? If so, write a review speaking about the
quality of the performances and the venue, the people in the audience and whether the band
should take their show to other schools.

A breath-taking concert in the school

Last June I attended the school band concert. It took place in Venecia.

As for the venue, The Goldoni Theatre, it was utterly beautiful. The architecture was perfect
and impressive, with modern wooden structures and a vintage style. I couldn´t believe my
eyes! Moreover, the bands which can be found there gave an astonishing performance, with
inspiring singers and impressive dancers. What´s more, the crowd went definitely crazy after
the last song, which was such a moving one, they were over the moon! In fact, the band had a
club of fans, who were cheering at the top of their lungs. What I enjoyed the most was when
the main singer closed to the audience and gave the microphone to one of the fans for a
couple of minutes, it was such a moving action!

However, I was rather disappointed to find that it was almost a miracle to be able to buy the
tickets, because it was a full house. Therefore, I´d highly recommend to anyone who would like
attend to the next concert of this band to get the tickets in the presale.

I´m sure you won´t regret going to this concert, if you like watch impressive performances!
The tickets will worth every penny!

An appealing hotel in the capital of USA

Last month, I went to a hotel called “Paradise”. It is located in the south of Washington, in
fact, it is within walking distance of a huge shopping centre, so you´ll find it easily!

As for the architecture, it is without a doubt utterly beautiful. You could book rooms
decorated with a wide range of topics, not only modern styles but also vintages ones. The staff
is highly professional and very friendly, so don´t worry about how many beds you could have in
your room, they will keep up helping you in whatever you need! Regarding to more facilities,
the place is really well run, therefore, the employees will be able to clean all the rooms and
make the beds. Moreover, they offer enjoyable activities for a low price, such as basketball,
football and tennis courts, an impressive swimming pool and an astonishing gym to work out,
which are available to use all the day! What´s more, if you go with a group over fifteen people,
it will include a delicious breakfast, home-made desserts such us a lemon pie and a watering-
mouth dinner for free!

If I were you, I would definitely go to this hotel. I´m sure you won´t regret going there on
vacation, so, give it a go!
