E-Learning Guidelines for Students

This document states the requirements and conditions that need to be observed and followed by students
enrolled in E-Learning (Online Courses).

Location & Connection

• Should have a comfortable and peaceful learning environment.

• Possibly, should have a separate and dedicated study room to attend classes.

• The study room should have appropriate lighting while attending the classes.

• The internet connection should be a minimum of 10 Mbps & stable.

• Should have a comfortable learning space with a comfortable chair and desk of appropriate height.

System Requirements

• Well-configured desktop or laptop with a good internet connection.

• Desktop or laptop with a camera.

• A set of headphones or speakers to hear the lessons clearly.

Preparation Before the class

• Check the internet connectivity.

• Check the desktop or laptop for any issues at least 15-20 minutes before the class.

• Check whether the class links shared are working properly or not.

• Get the study materials ready for the class.

• Refresh the content discussed in the last conducted session.

• Dress up appropriately for the class.

• Be punctual for the class.

During the class

• Treat your lecturer and classmates with respect during the class.

• Always address your lecturer as Sir or Miss/Ma’am.

• Should not use any slang or abusive language towards your lecturer or classmates.

• Should keep the cameras turned on while attending the class.

• Should participate and complete the class activities given by the lecturer.

• Should not be eating or drinking unless required due to medical conditions.

• Should not smoke during class.

• Should answer and reply to the lecturer when the name is called.

• Before speaking during the class, should get the permission of the lecturer.

• Should use the chat functionality only for raising queries or questions.

• Should not interrupt the lecturer without getting permission.

• No irrelevant topic for discussion should be brought up during the class.
