Measurement for Piling Works

Pre-cast Reinforced Concrete piles

Project title: 14 Units Of Terrace House

At Batu Pahat, Johor
Specification notes on Pre-cast reinforced concrete piles to be
read together with the drawing
1. All piles shall be of cross sectional 200mm x 200mm
2. Supply of lengths shall be:
Starter pile – 6.00m long
Extension pile – 3.00m and 6.00m long
3. Estimated driven/penetration depth: 14.00 m
4. No trial pile is required
5. All pile heads to be cut off by means of hydraulic breaker
6. Working load: 45 tonnes/ pile
7. Allow 4 no. of random load tests:
1 no. on 3 pile group
1 no. on 2 pile group
2 nos. on a single pile group
8. Tests shall be carried out in sequence with group testing to be carried
out first. Test load to twice working load shall be maintained for 24 hours
9. Legend:
P1: pile cap with 1 point
P2: pile cap with 2 points
P3: pile cap with 3 points
P4: pile cap with 4 points
P5: pile cap with 5 points
