Based on Rodent Infestation Trend Analysis (June 2022 to May 2023), the station I-01-08, I-01-09 and I-01-
11 show increasing trend until May 2023. The area near the station are filled with bushes and trees which
are food source to rodents.

Conclusion / Recommendation:

 Always keep sanitation, maintain good housekeeping and hygiene at your premise to reduce pest
population to a minimum, especially rodent.
 Keep the shuttle doors close when no loading activity and ensure they are not left opened for prolong
period to minimize the entry of pests into the premises.
 Seal all the entry points including cracks/crevices, holes, and gaps to prevent rodent and other potential
pest from entering your premise.

Conclusion / Recommendation:

1) The fluctuation of trend may due to:

i. Hygiene and Sanitation issue
ii. Seasonal factors & Environment problem such as rainy seasons.

2) Good practices to control the fly infestation to reduce the population:

i. For all entrance to the building, kindly make sure the door is shut as frequent as possible to
minimize their entrance.
ii. Control humidity at all areas since fly prefers the damp environments for breeding site.
iii. Seal any gap and hole to limit the entry point of pests and as a part of integrated pest
management system.
iv. The insect light trap must switch on and function well all the time to ensure it is effective against
any flying insects.
