BUILDING FOR IBEX 2.5, CALL CENTER, SHER ALI ROAD, NEAR
FATIMA MASJID, LAHORE.

Dear Sir,
Soil And Foundation Engineering Services are pleased to submit the Structure Strength
Evaluation report (Report No. SS/3562/23 & SS/3562/S/23) summarizing the findings of the
Structure Strength Evaluation for the above-mentioned project briefly described in the report. if
you have any questions, comments or additional information please feel free to contact us. Our
findings on the structure are

 The size of the columns in the existing building is 18”x18” with 8#6 vertical bars, but
according to the analysis, the reinforcement provided is insufficient.
 The provided steel for the beams at the top and bottom is 3-#6, but according to the
analysis, the required steel is greater than the provided steel of 1.32in^2, indicating that
the beams' steel is insufficient.
 The foundation size provided in the existing building is a 4ft x 4ft and 4 inches thick
foundation. However, it is not adequate for the footing bearing pressure and punching
ratio, as per the analysis.
 The bottom steel in all the slabs is sufficient, but the top steel at the support is not
provided, as per the analysis.
The structural elements need to be rectified for the office building's intended
purpose.
