Topic: Psychosocial

Psychosocial theory asserts that there are eight development stages that every individual will

encounter in a lifetime. While there are some flaws with Erickson’s theory, it provides a good base of

knowledge may be facing at their particular developmental levels. Psychosocial are very important to

the life of the teachers, because teachers are the one who will be handling the learners. To avoid

psychosocial imbalance of teacher’s, teachers need someone to talk their experiences, problems they

encountered.

Teacher’s nowadays are bombarded with lots of paper works, reports etc. They need to balance

their work and life to avoid imbalances. To balance psychosocial of an individual they need support from

the people around. Psychosocial support activities are imperative in promoting, protecting, and

prioritizing the learners and teacher’s social-emotional well-being.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychosocial, and social well-being. It affects how we

think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy

choices.

Mental health matters as one of the tagline of some of the mental health advocate.
