For the Mid-year INSET Liangan West Elementary School Teachers joined with the
other teachers at Maigo Central School, the first two days were dedicated to the
review of the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS) and the
Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form (IPCRF). Participants engaged in
workshops and discussions to ensure a thorough understanding of these systems and
their application in the school setting.
Subsequently, from day 3 to 5 at Liangan West Elementary School, the focus shifted
towards the development of interactive learning materials. This included the creation
of paper tarpaulins for classroom displays and the production of video lessons to
enhance the delivery of educational content. Teachers collaborated to design engaging
and informative resources that align with the curriculum and cater to various learning
styles.
Amid this INSET plenary, teachers were taught to develop interactive learning
materials using publisher, PowerPoint and Cap Cut, for them to create useful digitally
developed learning materials for their learners. In this talking point, the speakers
shared the steps and methods on which can be used by teachers’ participants as they
plan an interactive discussion of their lessons that they share to their learners in the
classroom. The speaker focused on the use of Publisher, PowerPoint and Cap Cut as tool
in making Interactive Learning Materials
To sum up, the entire session in mid-year break INSET was successful and fruitful
to both the participants and the speakers.
