    Sinipian Elementary School is a non-central public school located in Brgy. Sinipian, Nagcarlan, Laguna with 192 students. Many students come from poor families and need to work to support their families. The school launched Project SIKAP to improve students' math proficiency, especially for grade 3 students.     NARRATIVE/ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
    Sinipian Elementary School is a non-central school having an enrolment of 192 pupils
    this school year 2019-2020. It is located at Brgy. Sinipian Nagcarlan, Laguna. The percentage of
    this school children comes from Brgy. Sinipian, Balimbing, Balinacon and Oples, the school
    catchment areas. Due to poverty, the said children need to help their parents in supporting
    their everyday living.
    SES launched Project SIKAP (Simultaneous Improvement of K-12 Affecting Proficiency).
    This project aims to uplift the Mean Percentage Score (MPS) of Grade III pupils in Mathematics.
    This was facilitated by the school Mathematics Coordinator, Mrs. Wilma S. Montegrande and the
    grade III Adviser with the support of the School ICT Coordinator, Miss Arlene Coroza and the other
    teaching staff..
    Here are the activities undertaken for the said project:
    1. To lessen the number of pupils with low proficiency level of performance in

    solving word problem.

    2. To create effective remedial intervention.

    3. To instill study habits among pupils
