� Take the measurements of the circumference of the
Pipe and add the thickness of the insulation to get
the exact diameter of the cladding profile.
See figure no.1

� Aluminum sheets of approved type, quantity HIGH DENSITY FOAM

and thickness are cut as required and rolled

in the rolling machine to give the cylindrical
profile. Figure no.1

� After the aluminum profile is rolled in rolling machine it will pass the edges to the
Groover to give a longitudinal and circumferential groove.

� Slip the aluminum profile on to the insulated pipe. Care shall be taken to ensure
no damage to the cladding and insulation.

� Match the longitudinal grooves of the rolled profile and join by GI/ Aluminum pop
rivets / stainless steel screw as applicable.

� The screw / pop rivets sizes shall be optimum, so that they do not pierce the
insulation deeply.

� Fix the successive cladding and match the circumferential groove of previous
cladding and fix screws / rivets.

� All longitudinal and circumferential joints are properly sealed using sealant.

� Cladding shall be firmly fixed on the pipe and care shall be taken to ensure, the
cladding surface is free from scratches and dents.

� Raise the “Request for inspection” for the inspection by proponent and obtain
approval before removing the plastic film.
