If + present tense, present tense

Example:

If water cooks until 100° Celcius, it boils.

Type 1 (it could be real at the present)

If + present tense, future tense (will)

Example:

If I go to your house, I will meet you.

Type 2 (unreal at the present)

If + past tense, past modal (would)

Example:

If I went to your house, I would meet you

If I were you, I would go to her house.

Type 3 (unreal at the past / regret)

If + past perfect, modal past perfect.
