Tectonics Group is an Engineering and Geo-environmental firm with global presence
and registered offices in Nigeria, Ghana and United Kingdom, having partnerships with
Controls Group UK/Italy, IMM Switzerland and university of Portsmouth. We have a
transversal competence in all fields of engineering and technology with national and
international infrastructures. As consultants, we provide feasible solutions to
engineering design, geotechnical and everything related to soil and material
weaknesses.

2.1 Market Analysis

2.1.1 Geotechnical Services

• Marketing Promo and Discounts.


• Offer free training and workshops for ministries, parastatals and private
institutions as a means of advertising our service and also generating
revenue.
• Proposing that competitive rates are enforced by regulatory bodies.
• Review of rates for services rendered.
• Compile a list of potential clients (Ministries, Private organizations)
• Collaboration with contractors outside Abuja, for the utilization of our
laboratory for soil/material testing.

2.1.2 Structural Integrity Assessment Services

• Broaden our horizon for other clients (MDAs, estate developers) that require
SIT services, to reduce dependence on Development Control.
• Follow-up with developers for other value-chain businesses such as
supervision, quality assurance and control checks, etc.

2.1.3 Engineering Design Services

• Training of staff on engineering design tools and softwares to build their


capacity and reduce dependence on external sources.
• Organise training workshops for engineers in the industry, probably in
collaboration with engineering regulatory bodies or ministries.
• Seek out ministries that used to patronize our design services and find means
of mending the damaged relationship.
• Marketing. There is a need to sell our services to ministries that are in need of
design services.
2.1.4 Environmental Impact Assessment/Geophysical Investigation

• Compile a list of ministries and institutions that requires EIA services and
advertise our services to them.
• Advertise our geophysical investigation services to estate developers and
private individuals.
• Train the staff of Tectonics on EIA field processes, result analysis and report
writing.
• Organise EIA workshops in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Environment
and other environmental regulatory bodies.
• Registration with Environmental Protection Board
• Establish relationship with world bank and state projects.

2.1.5 Equipment (Civil Engineering Testing Equipment)

• Build upon existing relationship with Controls and workout means of


improving upon their current service delivery.
• Local production and fabrication of equipment and sale of equipment to
potential clients.
• Untapped potential in other fields where work equipment and tools are
required
• Venturing into the supply of geological and geophysical equipment, and
marketing of this service to potential clients.
• Alliance or partnership with other companies that supply other engineering
and geophysical equipment, but such that our agreement with Controls is not
contravened.
• Reinforcing our relationship with TETFUND and NUC, as it may help ensure a
quicker disbursement of funds to institutions who are potentially in need of
our equipment services.
