This notice is being provided to you pursuant to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988, which requires employers to give official notice to certain government units or officials of a pending mass layoff or permanent closure. This is to advise you that on October 20, 2023, PRA Group, Inc. and its subsidiary Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC. will permanently close the facility located at 119 Cane Creek Blvd Danville, VA 24540. All affected employees have been notified of their separation dates and that this action will be permanent. Those employees are expected to be separated beginning October 20, 2023. Those employees have also been informed in writing that they may be eligible for Unemployment Insurance.
