CASE STUDY

This online activity is intended to be done individually. Read the specifications for the case study and
provide what is required.

A beach resort wants to publish their own website to attract tourists to visit their resort and
ultimately increase revenues. They want their website to contain pictures of the resort and show the
amenities and activities that visitors can do during their stay.

The resort also has their own souvenir shop that sells manmade products from materials that can
be found only on their island. The website should allow the clients to view and purchase products online.
They also want the website to allow the clients to make room reservation and pay via their credit cards for
the said reservation.

Questions:

1. Based on the requirements of the resort, is it enough to develop a static website? Or will the resort
have to invest on a dynamic website which would entail added cost? Why?
