How to select the charts from catalogue in Navi-Planner

1. Start Navi-Planner from the Transas Integrator.

2. Click “Charts” from the left menu and click on the “Order” tab in the ribbon.

3. Click “Select catalogue” from right bottom panel and choose TX-97 or TADS
catalog:

4. From the “Chart Selection” group click “Select”:


5. There are four options available in the sub-menu:
- by region
- by cursor
- by point on map
- by route

By region
1. Having chosen the “by region” a window with “Selection by area” will open up.
2. In the “Selection by area” window check the checkboxes to the left of needed
geographic region. Click “Select”:
3. The selected charts will be highlighted in red.

By cursor
1. From the “Chart Selection” click “Select”, and “by cursor” from the drop-down
menu:

2. “Select area” cursor will appear. Left click in the map, and then by moving the
trackball you will make the area larger/smaller:
3. Once you are happy with the area then click the left button again and the charts
will be marked red (those boundaries are highlighted by red lines):

4. The selected charts will be highlighted in red:


By point on map
1. From the “Chart Selection” click “Select”, and “by point on map” from the drop-
down menu:

2. “Select charts” cursor will appear. Position the acquisition marker, which will
appear, on necessary point of the chart and click the left trackball/mouse button. In
the drop-down list all available charts under this place will be displayed. Select the
necessary charts by checking the checkboxes to the left of the charts names:
3. Once you are happy with charts selected click the left button twice and the charts
will be marked red (those boundaries are highlighted by red lines):

By route
1. From the “Chart Selection” click “Select”, and “by route” from the drop-down
menu:
2. From the sub-menu that appears select a route for which the charts updates
are required:

3. Navi-Planner will show the selected charts in red and in the bottom right-hand
part of the display there is a basket of all the selected charts by route:
