PYJ9114 Sheet Moulding Compound

1.Features and main uses:
PYJ9114 is a black SMC sheet used to auto parts. This sheet can meet the requirements of WSA-
M3D164-A. The glass fiber content is 48-55%, the pressed products have low profile, high
mechanical strength, high thermal deformation temperature, 180℃ 1000h strength retention rate
High (≥75%), while the flame retardant grade can meet ISO 3795≤100mm/min and other
characteristics, and it contains UV absorbent, Its properties are as follows:

4.Recommended pressing process: (For your reference)

（1）molding time: In principle, the product thickness is about 1min per 1mm, which can be
adjusted according to the actual situation
（2）molding temperature: front side (bright side of product) / back side: 146-150 ℃ / 138-
142 ℃. (Note: This temperature is the mold surface temperature.)

（3）Molding pressure: 100Kgf / cm2.

5.Storage conditions and shelf life:

（1）SMC packaging shall be wrapped in a film impermeable to styrene. Wrap with film and seal
to prevent air permeability. SMC should be sealed in aluminized film.
（2）The transportation shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of the Regulations on the
Safety Administration of Hazardous Chemicals of The State Council on Transportation Safety.
（3）SMC should be stored below 25℃ in a dry, ventilated room without direct sunlight, keep the
package sealed well, and keep away from heat source. Eliminate fire source. Under the above
storage conditions, the storage period is one month from the date of production.
