Every school leader dreamed to create great schools for every learners, every teachers, and in
every community.
This realization made true and possible to a great leader like Dr. Nelia Y. Andres.
Dr. Andres transferred at Benigno S. Aquino National High School on January 2021. This
movement was a big challenged coming on her way which pave in the midst of pandemic
considering that the school is the number one biggest school in the division of tarlac province
which caters more than 10 thousand learners and almost 300 teachers.
She embraced the challenges whole heartedly and motivated to do more and improved the school
interms of facilities, curriculum and instructions, manpower services through the active supports
of the department heads, faculty teachers and administrative staff to come up with strategies and
innovations on how to deliver quality education for every learners in the New Normal. In
addition, through the help of the generous stakeholder to make all the programs, projects and
activities success!

Her love for teachers was evident as she encouraged teachers to excel and continue to take

There were two department heads promoted from HT-III to HT-VI, three newly promoted
department head, more than thirty promoted teachers Teacher 1 to Teacher II and Teacher III.

For so many years it was a challenge for the past administrations to relocate the squatters living
in the vicinity of the school and so she took the matter to convince them to vacate the school
ground to a safer community outside of the school. A little assistance was given to them so they
can move to new place of their own.
In addition, garbage disposal is also a big problem in the school as she initiated to conduct the
project: NO to Payatas, Yes to Kalikasan as she convert the garbage smokey mountain to forestry
area.
Her wide range skills embodied strategic partnerships for parents and other stakeholders in order
to acquire and share resources.

With her strong leadership characteristics as a leader, she was able to succeed in spites of the
pandemic, issues and trials she was surpassed.
