TITLE : DEMOLITION WORK

1.0 OBJECTIVE
To outline work method for demolition & general works are carried out at the project site.

2.0 SCOPES
To dismantle and remove the existing equipment and furniture all

3.0 HANDLING AND STORAGE
3.1 All existing ornamental fixtures, frames, etc. shall become the property of the owner
after demolition. The construction team shall exercise care and take necessary
precautions during removal of the above said items from the building and delivered
them to designated locations before the demolition.

3.2 All materials are to be carted away from site.

3.3 The Logistic Team shall arrange for the removal of debris from site to the approval
dumping site. On no account shall debris or other materials be deposited under filled
areas. Burning of debris on site shall not be permitted.

4.0 WORK METHODOLOGY

4.1 General Works
Ensure all the working space is being secured from the public / others. Dismantle the
loose item then placed at secured area.
4.2 Dismantling Work
Carefully dismantle all the equipment and facilities. Keep safe during working, all the
dismantle area to be placed at the right place to avoid incident during working.
4.3 Diversion and Protection of Services
All existing utilities and services, etc which come within the area of works shall be
disconnected or diverted by the relevant authority / owner
4.4 Making Good Works
To make good all the area related to dismantling and removal works. To replace any
damaged area / material with the new as per drawing indication. Any piping (M&E) to
be relocated shall be done properly.
4.5 Permit for Demolition Works
The Coordinator shall be responsible for the application for permit to commence
demolition works from the building management.
4.6 Site Cleaning & Clearing
All the materials to be cart away from site. The building management shall advice the
location for keeps the ornamental fixtures.

5.0 HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY AND ENVIRONMENT

5.1 The Logistic Team shall provide adequate signboards at all strategic positions warning the
public to keep away from the work site and erect temporary fencing and barriers where necessary
around the site to prevent unauthorized trespassing during works.

5.2 The HSSE Team shall be responsible to take necessary measures to ensure that noise and
air pollutions are orderly controlled to satisfy the full requirements of the relevant authorities.

5.3 HSSE Team shall also ensure that disturbance due to noise and air pollutions caused by the
works to the neighbor hoods and public are kept to an absolute minimum.

5.4 In particular, the HSSE Team shall ensure that the existing driveway areas are constantly wet
to prevent excessive dust / air pollution during the demolition work
