i) To tabulate Water Demand based on SPAN Table and Highest Water Supply Level ii) Please proceed on KM preconsult with HQ officer & submit all related documents to Planner for onward Air Selangor KM online submission 2 Tapping Point and Pressure Head i) Upon obtain Air Selangor KM approval, proceed with tapping point and pressure head online submission to Air Selangor ii) Please check with District officer on the actual tapping point location upon obtained official TP location - This step is to check whether new water reticulation pipe involve road crossing or not 3 Water Rec Submission i) To design water reticulation - To provide hydrant pipeline - Min 160mm HDPE pipe PN 12.5 shall be provided for low OGL level (<17.00m) to prevent corrosion - Min 150mm Ductile Iron K9 or Mild Steel pipe shall be provided for higher OGL Level. Type of pipe shall be referred to Air Selangor Officer - Hydrant location shall be followed Approved Architectural Plan (Passive) by BOMBA - To provide domestic pipeline - Min 25mm Stainless Steel Pipe shall be provided. The actual size of SS pipe subject to water demand. - To provide S bend with air valve inside green area or sump area for pipe crossing area - To provide sluice valve at every different building block for maintenance purposes - To provide scour valve with full bore at lowest location and every pipe end location - To provide air valve at highest location - Suction tank shall be provided if residual head less than 7.5m or highest water supply level more than 15m from OGL - Pressure reducing valve shall be provided if residual head more than 30m - To design peak flow analysis - For external reticulation network, it is 2.5 times of total water demand per day - For external water pipe to suction tank & supply mains , it is 1.2 times of total water demand per day - Residual head must be 7.5m and above Remark : If proposed development lot already take into consideration during design stage of reservoir/elevated water tank , then Residual head only required 4.5m and above - Head loss must be less than 2m/1000m - Velocity must be fall within 0.3m/s-2.0m/s - To design average flow analysis (1.0 times of total water demand per day and 300gpm hydrant) - Only one hydrant location put into analysis which is further point from tapping point - Residual head must be 7.5m and above - Head loss must be less than 15m/1000m ii) To provide schematic diagram for water meter compartment - Domestic Water Meter Compartment - min 150mm clearance from left, right and rear side wall - max 150mm clearance from front boundary line - min 300mm clearance from upper wall - For single layer, water meter stand pipe shall be 450(+-50)mm from slab - For multi layer, water meter stand pipe shall be 450(+-50)mm from slab and additional 150(+-10mm) for each additional layer - Bulk Meter Compartment - min 300mm clearance from left, right and rear side wall - max 300mm clearance from front boundary line - min 600mm clearance between domestic meter stand and hydrant meter stand - The clear dimension bulk meter compartment shall be 4200mm width (min) and 1200mm depth (min) iii) To prepare SSD Form, Surat Akujanji and SKP 10% 4 Site Inspection - To pay for inspection fee (RM1000) and SKP 30% before inspection i) Pipe Material Inspection (QT3) before pipe laying ii) Pressure Test for external pipeline (QT4a) and internal pipeline (QT4b) after pipe laying iii) Final Inspection for external pipeline (QT6a) after premix wearing course laying After Final inspection, - To pay Bank Guarantee (BG) over DLP and SKP 60%. - Submit QT7 as notification of submission of BG - Submit Form G5 iv) Hot Tapping v) Flushing and Sterilising - Submit QT10 for handing over process - All above documentation must be compiled by Contractor/Consultant and submit to District for handing over process 5 Issuance of QT 11 from Air Selangor HQ
